The BG4848 roof hatch is designed with OSHA life safety in mind and provides easy access to roof areas. The is simple to install and operate. The BG4848 curb is manufactured from 14 galvanized steel and uses a gas spring to ease the opening of the 14GA galvanized steel lid. Both the lid and curb come standard with 1" thick rigid insulation. The BG4848 has a continuous gasket for weathertightness. Standard finish is red oxide powder coat.
